I am so happy with the glass conversation bubble. I have ordered twice from David and have been satisfied both the times. Highly recommend!

About

Glassblower

I'm a cartoonist and glassblower who moved to Maine, with my wife, in 2003. I look at doing these two very different arts as ' cross-training for creativity.'' For cartooning, I've been fortunate enough to get a couple of my cartoons published in The New Yorker, get syndicated with United Media, and seen my work in magazines and newspapers around the county. But glass captures my heart, as well. I love the fire, the heat, the movement that is involved in making a piece of glass. It is truly an exceptional medium to work with. And I'm currently combining my love of cartooning and glassblowing in pieces that I make, called Conversation PIeces, that are available here in my Etsy store. These are glass cartoon word balloons, just like you see in the comic strips. But out of glass. Check them out.
I'm currently building my own glass studio at our home, and can't wait to have it finished. We've renovated a 200-year old barn, and it has truly been a labor of love. The studio has turned out better than I ever could have expected.
You can see pictures of the studio on my website:

I'll keep posting more photos as I complete more equipment.
In the meantime, please visit my store, and I do hope you find something you like.
