Long live nostalgia.

Dayglodiva.etsy.com opened up its virtual doors in the late summer of 2010 thanks to the advice of an enlightened stranger who will probably never know how much she rocked my vintage world.

Oh sure, I had already spent over 10 years buying and selling on that other "E" site, but Etsy was different.

It was quality over quantity. It was heart and soul. It was inspiration. It was addiction.

Ten years and millions of online hours later, DayGloDiva still keeps inspiring me. Still keeps me awake at night. Still fills my head with technicolored visions that allow me to do what I love each and every day of the week - remember and celebrate the past.

So here's to all the glorious years to come, darling DayGloDiva.

    Dayglodiva.etsy.com is just 10 years old, but this Diva is older than that ;-). She grew up surrounded by classic cars, sewing machines, and a house filled to bursting with nostalgia of all sorts. You could say that vintage is in her genes.

**A NOTE ABOUT VINTAGE SIZING

The following are the measurements you need to know when buying vintage clothing.

Size numbers have changed so much over the years that it makes no sense to rely on number sizing when shopping for vintage clothing. Instead, below are a list of important measurements to know.

BUST - The fullest part of the bust while wearing a good bra.

TRUE WAIST - Your waist is next to your inner elbow when your
arms are held at your sides. (Many clothes today are worn very low on the hips. Most vintage clothing was worn at the true waist!)

HIPS - Measure the widest expanse around your hips and buttocks.

**A NOTE ON VINTAGE CONDITION

DayGloDiva clothing items are one-of-a-kind. They've had a life of their own, even if much of it was spent hanging around in a closet or two. They might show slight wear and tear., but major flaws will ALWAYS be noted in the item description.

Please note that colors may vary from one computer screen to another. I will try to describe the colors to the best of my ability, but don't hesitate to ask for additional photos if needed.

My goal is to provide you with clear photographs and accurate descriptions and measurements on clothing and shoes so you know what you are purchasing.

I ship to the address on your Paypal account. If you need to make other arrangements, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH ME BEFOREHAND.

I AIM TO SHIP ALL ORDERS WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIVING THEM, however I am human and sometimes it may take up to three business days for an item to ship. I am sometimes able to put orders in the mail on the same day, BUT PLEASE, if you have any TIME LIMIT OR DEADLINE, GET IN TOUCH BEFORE BUYING just to make sure that arrangements can be made.

I use USPS first class or Priority on US orders depending on the weight of the item. INTERNATIONAL ITEMS WILL BE SENT THE LEAST EXPENSIVE WAY POSSIBLE, BUT BELIEVE ME, INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS NOT CHEAP!!

LOST PACKAGES - If too much time has passed and you think your package has been lost in the mail, please get in touch.

INCORRECT ADDRESS - If the address you provide me is incorrect and your order gets returned to me, you will be responsible for any re-shipment fees.
