Faux Ferocity was formally launched in February 2011, but my desire to bring faux piercings to the world started at a much younger age.

When I was a teenager, like many of my peers in New Hampshire, multiple piercings were all the rage. Unfortunately my parents were not on board. They were, however, open to the idea of faux piercings, and I was introduced to the world of cuffs. Back then there weren’t too many options, and if you had a nickel allergy there were even less so. I have always been a creative soul, and so it was a natural transition to create my own business designing only the highest quality faux piercings on the market. While my nose cuffs are my signature product, I offer a wide range of faux piercings in a variety of hypoallergenic metals and colors. My nose rings, for example, come in fifteen different striking colors, and my other cuffs can be made in silver plated copper, sterling silver, or even 14K gold.

Each of my fake piercings is handmade to order with twin goals of style and comfort in mind. I am a mother myself, and I know that as my children get older I will have the opportunity to discuss piercings with them. Cuffs are a fantastic alternative to a permanent adornment for teens and adults alike. My jewelry is not just for teenagers, but for young adults that do not want to lose their edge because they have a 9 to 5 job, and for people who are thinking about a piercing but want to try the style on before they go under the gun. I love piercings, and I love giving people the freedom to express themselves in a way that is fluid and transitionary.
