Announcement   My inventory changes so quickly, let me know what you would like to have and I will check my inventory and send you photos of what is available.

Welcome and thank you for visiting my shop. I hope my work brings you joy through their colors, shapes and textures. Utilizing the fluid properties of multiple glazes and oxides in firings, I ask the glaze to run or pool, drag or flow while molten, combining and changing while being directed over smooth or heavily textured surfaces. The play of glazes in the kiln during the firing is magic, the results of each kiln load yields new ideas and combinations as more is learned from the process. Enjoy!

Just beautiful. I plan to give these bowls as gifts. I know my friends will love them. Dan worked with me and communicated every step of the way. Very happy. Thank you so much.

Absolutely beautiful! A stunning Chawan, colours and texture reminiscent of driftwood and the ocean.

About

Hello, and thank you for visiting my shop.

My passion for ceramics started long ago, I think it was in the third grade, according to the scribbles on my work from that period. Now, thousands of pounds of clay later the relationship continues. Backed by the many teachers and influences I have had and continue to have, my dialogue with clay has become most congenial. However, sometimes the clay demands it's own way rather than a mutual harmony. I have found it is best to listen and then start the conversation up again when we are both ready.

Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up. ~Pablo Picasso
