Bought together with Buddha's gift 5... they are hanging together in my kitchen, and make me smile when I see them!

About

It's a whimsical world indeed...

I'm only half-joking when I say that creating artwork is an addiction that I need to feed. It's true that that I am my happiest when my thoughts and hands are engaged in learning new ways to create visually.

Formally trained in printmaking, I pursue my art practice in my home studio with the help of my custom etching press. While monotypes (one-of-a-kind prints) make up a large portion of my work, I also create linocuts, collographs, silk screens, and dry points along with a few paintings for good measure.

Perhaps because my love of artwork began with the storybooks of my childhood, I continue to create youthful imagery of children and animals. Whether creating a set of whimsical napkins or a quirky little dry point, I hope to create images that evoke wonder, curiosity and happiness in all too-serious world.
