I went into this project a little overconfident and learned very quickly that with a "simple" pattern attention to detail and precision is very important because deviations show badly. On a second go around when I took my time and really paid attention I had great results and everyone who has seen them has responded positively. A fun project (and a life lesson for free.) I already cut out two more!

Used for my first stuffed animal and it came out well, great pattern
bunny rabbit stuffed animals for the young and young at heart
I started sewing in college, and that's when 'dear sweet darlings' was born. It began with rag dolls, but I found comfort with bunny rabbits.
I've always had 'Bun-bun,' a bunny plush from my childhood, and I want to share the experience with the world; a constant companion for adventures, tea parties, bedtime, or just hanging out.
Truthfully, when It comes to the live animals I'm allergic to rabbits (and I'm more of a cat person!) But the imagery of rabbits is my favorite. I take inspiration from traditional and modern bunny literature figures such as the 'Velveteen Rabbit', 'Max and Ruby', and Beatrix Potter's rabbits, as well as vintage stuffed toys.
