    About

Newly created treasures from the past.

Women have often ask me what made me turn my jewelry making into a career path. My answer was simple. I adored jewelry, wanted to work from home and loved a challenge! I have always had my own start up business, from lingerie to a wallpapering business. I love being my own boss, it is hard work, but so gratifying. There is nothing better than the feeling of the unlimited freedom of running your own business. I started my jewelry business 13 years ago with 5 simple bracelets. My younger sister, Diana took them to her work place and came home and said "you need to make more". I realized that women were looking for three things in their jewelry, uniqueness, great value and affordability. None of which my department stores were offering. So with my husband Bob's encouragement and my fresh ideas, I jumped into the world of jewelry design. I was unsure about many things, so I let my passion for jewelry lead the way. The hardest part of getting started was defining what direction I wanted the business to take. I kept saying to everyone...I just want to be different. I knew I did not want to purchase beads and findings from my local bead shop. Wouldn't the end result look like everyone else's jewelry? I wanted my designs to stand out from the rest. So I began searching for broken vintage jewelry and recreating the old pieces into new, colorful and unique treasures. When you make a big leap, it can be petrifying. But I believe that when you are passionate about something, you have to go for it! Challenging one's self is a good thing!
