Announcement   I love words, and I love images, especially black and white photography. To complement my blog (mendtheworld.me), I'm happy to offer some of my images here for the first time, along with a few of the words I've used to describe them. Perhaps you'll find something that speaks to you, or that would make a groovy gift for someone you know.

I had purchased this not realizing it was a photo and not an actual type set. My mistake for not reading everything. I wrote and asked if i could return it and she was so nice and agreed to refund my money. Very much appreciated. Very pretty photos and nicely matted. Highly recommend.

Hey, thanks for browsing through my photos. I enjoy taking them; I hope you enjoy looking at them. Most of my prints can be produced in large and small formats, from posters to greeting cards. Let me know what you need, and I’ll try to make it happen. And please follow me, or stop in regularly. I won’t keep a large inventory online, but I’ll change it regularly, to keep it fresh.

Photography is one way I see the world; I try to do my part to make it better, as a teacher and writer. You can check out my blog at www.mendtheworld.me. A part of your purchase price on any item will support the poverty education work of UrbanSpirit, a center I run here in Louisville. (More about that: www.urbanspirit.org.)

Please shop carefully, then consider your purchases final. I really want you to be happy with your new art, and am available to answer questions before your make a purchase. Because all prints are custom ordered, I can’t do refunds, but on smaller pieces I can sometimes make exchanges. Contact me for conversation. Larger format pieces are not exchangeable, so be sure before you order. If your purchase arrives damaged, please let me know, and I'll work to make it right. Keep in mind, also, that how an image appears on a computer screen and how it looks in real like may not be exactly the same.
Payment
You can pay directly with credit cards or an Etsy gift card; you can also choose Paypal, if it makes you happy. Items shipped within Kentucky must include 6% sales tax.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: While I am thrilled to think of my work hanging in living and working spaces around the world, please note that prices and shipping charges do not include customs charges. You, the buyer, will be responsible for all that. Perhaps your local customs office can provide more info.
Shipping
When your payment is confirmed, I’ll produce your print and have it on the way to you within 5 days via USPS, and if you include your email address, I’ll send you tracking info. Images are printed with a matte finish by a professional lab; they are signed and sealed in a protective sleeve. Smaller prints (up to 8x10) are matted to the next standard size; larger formats are not matted. Most sizes are shipped in a sturdy cardboard envelope. Very large prints (greater than 12” on the shortest edge) are rolled with tissues paper and shipped in a cardboard tube. If you have a special request for shipping, contact me!
