Payment
I accept PayPal and credit/debit card payments. You do NOT need a PayPal account to use a credit or debit card. Please feel free to contact me for help with this process if needed. I’m more than happy to e-mail detailed, step-by-step instructions.

I prefer to have payment at the time of the order. If for some reason you are unable to complete the payment portion of the transaction immediately PLEASE let me know in the ‘notes to seller’ portion of the order or by e-mail or Etsy convo.

If I am contacted about delayed payment and am in contact with you during this time, I will wait 7 days before cancelling the sale.

If within 3 days of the sale I have received no communication from you I will cancel the transaction(s). During these 3 days I will e-mail once, invoice once through PayPal and send one invoice reminder. I will also e-mail to tell you I am cancelling the sale and express my disappointment in you (didn’t you hate when your mother said that?). I may also leave a negative or neutral feedback on your account. It just depends how disappointed I am. ;-)

IF THE UNPAID ORDER IS FOR A ONE-OF-A-KIND ORIGINAL PAINTING I will NOT wait 7 days for payment unless you are a return customer with a good transaction history with me personally. If I don’t know you, even if your feedback is 100% positive, I will cancel the sale and relist the painting on the 3rd day. I know, that’s harsh, but the originals are like my own children. I don’t want them sitting here wondering if they are wanted or not. Better to let everyone move on don’t you think?
Shipping
:: COMBINED SHIPPING ::
I will combine all items purchased at the same time from both of my shops. If you do make a purchase from both Moth to Flame AND Moth to Flame Studios I will box all items together for shipping. Because the combined shipping prices are not automatically figured when items come from 2 different shops, I will also refund any shipping overcharges to you AFTER I send the package if I determine the amount was excessive.

:: SALES TAX ::
Those who also live in the beautiful State of Washington will be charged 8.8% sales tax. PayPal will automatically figure the total amount when you check out. Sales tax is only applied to the merchandise being shipped and not to the shipping fees.

:: SHIPPING ADDRESS ::
I prefer to ship to a confirmed address on file with PayPal but I understand that the address entered into Etsy at the time of the order is probably the most current. Please check your addresses and make sure to update your PayPal account to avoid any delays in shipping. If the addresses differ I will need to confirm the correct address with you prior to shipping your items.

:: DELIVERY CONFIRMNATION & INSURANCE ::
Because the wonderful, but passive aggressive USPS tormented me by ALMOST losing a few packages this last year, I now ask for delivery confirmation on all packages I send out. I do not generally insure prints or other items unless it is a very large, combined order. If you would like your order insured please contact me and I will be happy to do it.

:: INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ::
My international shipping rates are in flux. I’m slowly figuring out what to charge. In the interim my prices are on the very low side I’m finding so now is the time to take advantage of me! If, after I mail an international package, I find out that the shipping was excessive I will refund any overcharges.

:: DUTIES & TAXES ::
I don’t know anything about these fees so I do not include them in my pricing. These fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Refunds and Exchanges
Of course my feelings will be hurt and I will forever doubt my artistic abilities from that day forward but . . . if for some reason you decide something is just not right for you I will accept returns if notified within 48 hours after you receive it. I do not pay for the return shipping and I will ONLY accept a returned item and submit a refund if the piece arrives safely packaged and undamaged back to the loving arms of its creator.
