All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.

All items are shipped with insurance. If anything happens during shipping please return the shipping materials and the box to the post office to file a claim. Then use the post office refund to request and pay for a replacement item at the original cost and shipping.

All items are represented fully in pictures and in descriptions in my shop. Since every piece is hand made small imperfections and color variations are part of the artwork and give handmade items uniqueness and character. However, there are no cracks or breaks, unless noted in the description. In view of this, it is our policy that no refunds can be given for not liking the look of the piece after you receive it.

Each item in "By Hand. By Design." is a unique work of art. We don't generally create exact duplicates or production pottery at our studio.

I prefer payment by PayPal, but I will also accept money orders or certified checks. (You can also use PayPal to pay for purchases by credit card even if you do not have a PayPal account.)

Payment through Paypal is expected immediatly following your purchase. Please make sure you follow the link to Paypal to complete your transaction.

Payment confirmation from PayPal is due before an item is shipped. If payment confirmation is not received with in a week of order and contact can not be made then the order will be cancelled.

Items will be shipped on receipt of payment or payment verification.

I usually ship USPS priority mail with insurance.
All of my pieces are packed with care to ensure their safe arrival. I carefully bubble wrap each item and protective packing materials.

We ship out within 1-2 days of receiving payment.
