About

Knitting, spinning, and writing are my passion and will be my second career.

I am at a turning point in my life. I am leaving a 25 year teaching career due to chronic pain. Now I'm trying to turn my hobbies into a job.

I'm also a mother. But my baby is graduating this year. We will soon be a household of four adults.

I am starting a blog that will link to this site and tell the stories of my transition. Many of these stories have inspired knit projects which I will write patterns for and make available for sale.

I created this shop several years ago as an excuse to knit things I liked without an intended audience. Now I am out of work on disability and would like to grow my business enough to pay for an expensive yarn addiction.
