Hi, I’m Bridgitte, the owner, designer, and maker behind Decide it's Good. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania with my husband, two grown kids, and a stinky dog named Magnus.
I have a long history of designing and crafting new things. I made all the decorations, centerpieces, and bouquets for my wedding, as well as altering all the bridesmaid's dresses! Designing, sewing, and crafting quickly became favorite hobbies and my creative outlets, especially during the pandemic and stressful times of work.
My mom is a Levi's afficionado from way back, so I decided to make her an upcycled Levi's jean purse from an old pair of my shorts as a birthday gift. I came up with my own design, and the finished product exceeded my expectations. When she received it, she was ecstatic! I quickly realized no other gift would live up to this one! Everywhere mom goes she gets compliments on her Levi's purse and questions on where she got it.
I started Decide it's Good in 2023, after I was encouraged by family and friends to get my purses out to the world. I decided to turn my passion into a business and share my creations with the world. I was nervous at first, but I received so much support and encouragement from my family & friends, that I never looked back.
My mission is to create funky, fun, and functional purses that will make you smile and feel happy. I upcycle jeans by accenting and lining them with various cotton fabrics that showcase your unique personality. I love experimenting with different colors and patterns. I can also make a purse from your own jeans and fabric for a more personal finished product. Please message me for details.
I make everything in my home studio, which is also my happy place. I enjoy every step of the process, from creating the designs, to choosing the fabrics, to adding the finishing touches. I take pride in my work, and I pay attention to every detail, making sure there is love in every stitch. I use great care in packaging my purses and include a handwritten thank you note.
