I am from a family of artists- a long line of sculptors, painters, knitters, fabric artists and seamstresses. ART RUNS IN OUR VEINS. We just can't help ourselves. I carry on the tradition (slash, addiction- crafters you know what I'm talking about) in my own home studio, sewing clothing and raising my daughters. I specialize in the unique.... custom clothing, remakes, and my own original creations.
I put TREMENDOUS effort into making my clothing and accessories as eco-conscious as possible.... either natural-fiber fabrics like cotton, bamboo, hemp, and silk, that have been hand dyed in small batches, or fabric scraps and upcycled garments that would otherwise end up in landfills. Instead, the fabrics have been given a new life of beauty and purpose.
Have an idea or a question? Write me a message! I'd love to talk about it.

Refunds and Exchanges
Custom orders are usually nonrefundable, because I cannot resell a unique, personalized item. For this reason I work closely with you, ask lots of questions, and make sure we are on the "same page' about every detail before I begin the order. If for some reason your custom order item is completely wrong, I will offer you a discount on replacing the item, or 60% of value in store credit.
Additional policies and FAQs
Probably! I love doing custom orders because I can make it just what you want. Message me about the item you are interested in and I would love to talk to you about it.
*How Do I Take My Measurements?
Having your measurements taken by a professional is the best way to go, and a good idea if you are measuring for something important like a wedding gown. But you can take good enough measurements with the help of a tape measure and a friend.
Very important- measure yourself while wearing the bra/undergarments you intend to wear with the clothing.
Stand up straight and hold your arms straight out from your sides. Measurements should be taken at the largest point around the bust and hip, and the smallest point around your waist. Measuring tape should be wrapped around snugly.
To determine your skirt length, measure from your waist (where your waistband should sit) down to where you want the hem.
*Will you Alter my Garment for me if it doesn't fit?
All quality garments, handmade or otherwise, have slight variations, and custom tailoring is necessary to achieve the best possible fit. Alterations are best done in person- meaning, the seamstress/tailor needs to see you wearing the garment and pin it on you to achieve a truly personalized fit. So I recommend having your alterations done by someone where you live, but if you don't have that available, message me and I'll let you know if I can fix it for you. I might ask you to take a picture of yourself wearing the garment so I can see what's happening.
*I purchased an item from you which is now damaged, will you fix it?
Definitely! Write me a message. If it's a small repair I'll do it for free; if it's a major fix I may need to charge you but I assure you it would be reasonable.
Please let me know if I can answer any other questions you may have! :)
