Simplify your medicine cabinet. Nourish your skin. Pamper yourself naturally.
I love to make things with my hands. Whether it's weaving, painting, sewing, making bouquets & wreaths, or preparing herbal concoctions and mixing soaps, it comes naturally to me and brings me peace, beauty, and joy. Nature is my favorite source of artistic materials, but I also hunt down re-usable materials like old fabrics and scrap stained glass, broken dishes and last-years' calendars.
I also love plants and the many ways in which they enrich lives, and I am excited to share them with people. To me, plants are a source of great joy and powerful healing. They are like dear friends, each with its own unique ways of delighting, helping, or teaching.
I have been growing and gathering herbs and making medicines and other herbal creations for more than ten years. I studied Therapeutic Herbalism at The California School for Herbal Studies and Sustainable Agriculture at The Evergreen State College. I grew up in Boise, Idaho, and moved to Olympia, Washington in 1989.
For several years now, I have been making herbal products for the midwives at Around the Circle Midwifery and their clients; I am happy to be supporting natural birth and parenting.
I seek out organic and locally grown herbs, including from my own garden and in the wilds of western Washington.
One of my goals is to shape my business to let the most local plants take center stage and change recipes that utilize herbs that are not within local reach. Local, fresh plants make the best products, and are most helpful for people and animals in their area. I recommend you look for organic herbal products from your local region!

I love plants. I love making things with my hands. I love sharing my gifts and supporting healing.
Most of my products contain medicinal herbs which affect different people in different ways. Please choose your herbal remedies wisely, with trusted health care providers, especially if you have health concerns. Follow recommended dosages; more is not necessarily better. If you feel adverse side affects after using any herb, discontinue use right away. Feel free to contact me with specific questions; however, please understand I am not a physician and can not legally diagnose or treat disease. I urge you to seek a local herbalist for face-to-face advise if needed.
