Hello and welcome to Delicate Industry

Hello my name is Jillian, welcome to my shop, Delicate Industry. I love working with re-purposed vintage pieces, gemstones, brass, cameos and shiny vintage jewels. My aesthetic is rather eclectic which is reflected in my shop so I like to think there is something for everyone here. My goal is to make pieces that are special to my customers and make them feel special when they wear them.

Making things with my hands has been a lifelong love affair that has taken many forms. Making jewelry started as many of my creative jaunts do, as a challenge to see what I could do. It has turned into a great way to create small pieces of art and let them go into the world. My goal is to make something special that the wearer feels special in.

I do my best and spend a long time sourcing the best materials I can find and buy supplies that are made in America as often as I can. I take great pride in each piece I make and hope that you find something you love here at Delicate Industry.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase please contact me before leaving negative feedback as a courtesy. I will do what I can to accommodate you.

Refunds are only available within 7 days of arrival. Custom items cannot be returned.

Unless the wrong item has been sent or the item is defective, buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

For sanitary reasons stud and fixed leverback earrings CANNOT be returned.
I only accept payment via direct checkout or PayPal at this time. You do NOT have to have a PayPal account to checkout using PayPal, simply follow the instructions on the screen to checkout as a guest. I cannot accept any other form of payment including money orders for any reason.

Items are lovingly packaged, ready for gift-giving and shipped first class from California.

Items are usually shipped within 3 days of received payment or sooner. Express Priority orders are shipped the same or next business day. Please keep in mind Sundays and other postal holidays when placing orders. International shipping will go out once a week. If you need something in a rush or by a specific date let me know BEFORE checkout and we can work out upgraded shipping.

Packages are personally delivered to the Post Office and all efforts will have been made for a safe and speedy delivery. However, please understand I CANNOT be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. Once they have left my hands, it is outside of my control. PLEASE keep this in mind before you purchase. Insurance is available and recommended to insure against lost packages and is your only chance for a reimbursement for a lost package. If you would like to add insurance for your order please choose "Insurance included" at checkout for domestic orders. For insurance on international orders please convo me BEFORE checkout so I can adjust the shipping charges for you.

Please allow an estimated 6-10 days for international shipping arrival. This is only an estimate and it can take longer depending on customs clearance times, including up to 3-6 weeks. I CANNOT guarantee shipping times for international orders unless upgraded shipping is purchased. If you would like insurance for international shipping, please let me know BEFORE payment so I can adjust the shipping charges. Buyer is responsible for any customs fees.

I no longer ship to Chile, UAE, Saudi Arabia or Qatar due to frequent lost packages. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All orders arrive in a kraft jewelry box with a ribbon bow and stamped top. If more than one item is purchased they will be combined into one box. In an effort to save paper, your invoice will not be included in your package but can be printed by accessing your Etsy account receipt.

Please leave me a note to seller at checkout out if you are shipping a gift directly to the recipient.

Can I have a shorter chain?

Yes. Simply leave me a "note to seller" at checkout with your desired length and I will alter it for you for free.

What are your cameos made of?

All cameos at Delicate Industry are made of hard, matte resin unless expressly stated otherwise in the listing description.

How do I pay with PayPal?
