I began designing jewelry many years ago. I was first inspired by my mother Grace, who was dedicated to designing her hat collections to wear to Sunday Mass each week. They were highly detailed hats with her use of petite flowers and unique findings. It was always exciting to see what her newest "creation" would be!!

I was later inspired by my high school teacher, Mr. Knodel, who quickly recognized and encouraged the attention that I applied to the fine detail in all of my class projects. During my last semester in high school, Mr. Knodel taught me the fine art of paper mache. With that knowledge and inspiration I began designing a line of paper mache jewelry. I was soon on my way to designing and selling jewelry & other products to major department stores and fine specialty boutiques worldwide.

While raising 3 children as a single parent, I used my belief in quality products and acute attention to details in creating my designs. These attributes have made my treasures recognized throughout the world and have become beloved heirlooms and will continue as such for many years to come.

Desiring to continue evolving my talents, I began designing a line of unique and highly detailed Victorian lamps and shades, unusual Victorian jewelry and whimsical hand sculptured stone clay dolls and Christmas ornaments that I have created inspired by Beatrix Potter. They are limited edition pieces. Using Swarovski crystals, vintage trims, silk fabrics, beads, unique metal findings and many more unusual embellishments to create my pieces of art. I enjoy creating new designs with a "European flair" to offer to my devoted customers. They truly are created for the romantic at heart and those that appreciate fine detail.

I have always loved color and enjoy hand painting my trims and laces, also shading my flower embellishments with my own special blend of fabric dye. I tend to dye my trims, laces, flowers, and appliques which I offer, colors to blend well with the Designers in mind who love to create the Vintage and Victorian look.

I love working with Silk, Satin, Organza and Lace. Designing my unique items by using many different trims and findings to create each "special" piece.
