Capes, masks and cuffs are now ready for the shop having passed required safety tests and bearing the CE mark.
Enter a world of whimsy and magic where I sew beautiful items for children, adults and home. Inspired by stories, a love of festivals and adventure.
I began sewing when my children were very little, creating costumes and masks for imaginative play. I enjoy making presents for friends and home accessories which inspired me to make and sell for others. I am inspired by being outdoors, watching my children explore and play and the many camping and glamping experiences I've had....Delilah and the Moon is my adventure into sharing and selling my makes which I hope you agree add a touch of individual style and magic to your home and festival adventures and tent! Who doesn't need bunting on a tent?!
I have no formal artistic or sewing background so gain inspiration from the world and people around me and often let the fabrics take over! I love being outdoors and camping under the stars is one of my favourite things to do.
I am a firm believer in sustainable living and buying fewer but better quality items that have a long life and can be passed on, and at the end of their life can be recycled. I take great care in the fabrics I choose and always keep material waste to a minimum. All of the packaging used by Delilah And the moon is recyclable or biodegradable.
Our crowns are a firm favourite in our house still and find their way into our adventures often.
