Can these signs be powered by a battery ?

My solar model use a battery, but it's charges everyday by the sun. For regular models, even if they are energy efficient, their bright lights will drain a battery in one night, so they need to be wired.

What power source is needed ?

Non solar signs need a DC voltage between 9 V and 12 V. I've made several power adapters available to make it compatible with your power source. I will discuss and recommend you the best device to adapt your setup as perfectly as possible.

Can these signs withstand the California, Arizona, Texas (etc.) hot/harsh weather ?

Signs are made from PETG and host a metal core as a redundant safety against creep on intense direct sunshine. There are manu units already installed in these states and they are fine. A timer or a dusk to dawn daylight sensor is recommended to avoid lights to work when the sign is under the hot sunshine because high temperature can reduce LED lifetime.

Where is the dusk to dawn sensor I've ordered ? I can't find it in my package.

It's inside the sign, and invisible ! My dusk to dawn daylight sensor option is not a regular external magic eye device. With that option, the sign become daylight sensitive itself without any impact on the minimalst look of the unit. This is a rare feature and it makes you save in the installation cost of an external sensor.

We've installed the sign and it doesn't lit up.

Please remember to tell your electrician or installer that your sign have a built-in dusk to dawn daylight sensor. Then, they need to test the sign in the dark or it will stay off, as inteded. If it's daytime, you can test the unit by placing a cardboard over it to block the incoming light.
