It all stated wtih a quilt.

In 1999 I was riding in the car with a friend when a quilt in the back seat caught my eye. It was sunning. modern. bright. perfect.
I had never seen anything like it. Up until then, I thought quilts were something only grandmothers made that were old fashioned and well...boring. I asked my friend to show me how she made hers and she took me to my first fabric shop. There began my love affair with fabric and my study of quilting.

This shop started with one lonely quilt and has blossomed in to so much more. As the mother of three little girls, I kept seeing items in stores that I knew I could make myself and even improve with all the fabrics in my stash. Now my shop includes baby items, hair accessories, key fobs, and much more.

When I am not sewing I am either caring for my family or working my evening job as a social worker. Etsy has given me a creative outlet in my otherwise crazy life. Thank you Etsy and thank you to all those people who have shopped with me over the years.

All of my items are hand made by me in my home. I live in a smoke free/ pet free home. All of my items are machine sewn. My quilts are usually machine quilted a freehand meandering. I find meandering offers a more antique and hand made feel.

I quilt purely for the love of quilting. I hand pick each fabric individually and use many different designers for a unique and custom look. I touch each fabric before purchase to make sure it has a feel I would want to cuddle under. Most of my baby quilts are made with flannel fabric unless specified.

Returns and exchanges
I take great pride in the quality and workmanship of my items. I want you to be thrilled with your new handmade purchase. If for any reason your purchase is not what you expected, return the item within 7 days for a full refund. Item must be returned in the same condition it was mailed to receive a refund.

The only exception to refunds are for monogrammed or personalized items as well as t-shirt quilts. If you should feel the need to return one of these items, contact me and we can discuss this.
Payment
For your convenience, I accept Paypal, Credit Cards (without use of Paypal), and personal checks. Payment is expected at time of checkout. I will accept payment plans for any item over $100. Convo me to work out the details prior to purchase. We will decide on a monthly payment amount and the item will be shipped after the last payment. For personal checks, I will allow 1 week for your check to reach me after purchase. After 1 week, the item will be relisted if the check has not arrived. After a check is received, item will be shipped after check has cleared. Please allow at least 1-2 weeks for this complete transaction.
Shipping
Most items are shipped USPS priority mail usually within 1 to 2 business days after payment has cleared. International orders are shipped USPS Priority International. I will ship UPS or Fed Ex if buyer notifies me in advance and makes proper payment arrangements. Please allow two-four weeks prior to shipping for custom made items.

**Calculating shipping can be challenging. If you overpay for shipping by one dollar or more, the overage will be refunded to you immediately.

Please note that buyer is responsible for all customs or duty charges upon delivery of their item. Please check your country's policies prior to purchase.
