Got a nice healthy plant as described, excited to see it grow, although I know it prodably won’t really be a sizable plant with a trunk for at least a decade.

Cactus are amazing with their ability to survive in the harshest conditions as well as how easily they root. This pad already had a very good root system when sent, but the side that was facing down in the package had roots growing out of all the areoles! It really is of no importance towards my review-that’s just what you see in the image. Nice color, looking forward to the orange tepals, moving stamens, and green stigma.

Pad was actually a little bigger than I thought it would be based on the photos, probably 5”x3”, obviously it’s wrinkly since it’s dormant, but will look good come summer time like the opuntia hybrids I’ve bought from this company in the past. Needles are also longer than expected, some are 3” long. Great color and can’t wait to see it flower.
