Thanks for checking out my Skater Owned Shop! I have been very lucky to have had loads of really great orders from derby girls (and guys!). That being said, I am pretty far behind in filling them, but I am doing my darndest to work through them all. I love special requests, but sometimes they take a while to make. Everyone wants something different, but, hey, that's what makes the derby world so cool! So, let me know if you have any great ideas for personalizing your skates. I will do my best to make what you ask for, but please be patient! :-) Also, if you contact me, I will write you back, but it may be several days before I do. My roller derby toe guards are made of leather and are designed to protect the snouts of your roller skates. The relentless dragging, falling and scraping of the boot during derby is hell on the material. Getting a hole in the boot is irreversible and is best avoided. These derby toe guards are extremely durable and will extend the life of your skates considerably.

The pattern is die cut to ensure uniformity. I glue and stitch the leather together, while the addition of the grommet for the laces also serves to attach the pieces. Therefore, if the stitching wears out, the toe guards will stay in one piece.

Most of the derby toe guards I sell are custom ordered and designed. Let me know what design you would like and I will try to accommodate you. I try to keep some standard designs in stock, but if you don't see what you are interested in, please contact me.

***CUSTOM ORDERS POLICY***
Custom orders may take several weeks for me to complete. Remember, the simpler the design, the better. More color changes and pieces result in a higher price. I have a wide range of colors to work with, and all sorts of leather for embellishments: alligator, cow, ostrich, etc.

All custom orders require a $20 nonrefundable deposit which will be applied to the final cost of your toe guards. I need your email address in order to send you the invoice, which is created through Paypal. Please be very exacting in your description of what you want, and please send me an image if at all possible. Thanks, and I am looking forward to working with you!
