I love these pillow covers! Silvia made a custom listing for my request of 2 covers and was quick to custom make them and get them shipped out. Excellent product and service!

So much fabric, so little time...

This has been a recurring theme in my very busy life for many years, and especially since I started my sewing business in 1988.

I have been sewing and occasionally working in the other needle arts since I was a child growing up in Germany. At that time these skills were a regular part of a girl's education which was a good thing, because it allows me to make a living doing what I enjoy most.

Nearly all my time is spent as the sole owner/operator of a very busy tailoring shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I do custom apparel and alterations, plus quite a bit of home décor.

In my free time (is there actually such a thing anymore???) I get to be creative, working on turning what appears to be the largest fabric stash in town into all the items sold in my retail shop and Etsy stores.

I invite everyone who finds themselves in Albuquerque to stop by and visit my shop SEAMS TO YOU on Juan Tabo Blvd. I'd love to meet you!

In the meantime, I encourage anyone with project ideas, questions about me or my business, or other suggestions to send me a message. I check my emails daily and look forward to hearing from you!

Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are welcome. I am a tailor/seamstress with decades of experience and am prepared to tackle most of your sewing challenges.

Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your custom order to be completed. As stated above, it's usually sooner, but as I run a very busy alterations/custom sewing shop, it will depend on my current work load.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my shop policies.
