I am a stone hound who loves sharing pretty pieces of Nature with others. I was trained in a Jewelry store in NYC back in the 70s so some of the methods I use are the old tried-and-true rather than some of the newer more conventional timesavers. I prefer to hand knot each piece twice and then backstring, and *not* depend on a crimp bead to hold the piece together - - I feel it is a safer method and I want my creations to last.

I love to make pieces to order so if you like the stones I have and want a special piece created just for you, drop me a conversation or email me. Typically, custom orders are at similar prices to the items in my shop (I don't charge extra for doing them).

I also do restringing and repair jobs for any pieces you have that are broken, or that you want freshened into a new look. Sometimes a little creativity can change a Blah necklace into a WOW piece you will want to wear daily. Pricing is usually done on an hourly basis unless I have to provide many parts (then that cost is added). Send me a conversation or an email and we can discuss it (I can put up a "custom" listing for you after we decide on the details). Jewelry that just sits in a box or lays broken doesn't do anyone any good so think about having your items restrung/refreshed instead :)

Returns and exchanges
Refunds are accepted if the item is not as described in the listing or if there is a defect somewhere. Refunds/Exchanges are permitted provided I am told about the refund/exchange request within 3 days of receipt of item - - but you will have to pay the shipping to return the item and send out the new one (so you *can* change your mind if you are willing to pay the freight charges). Additionally, if you break the item (or your 100 pound Rottie breaks it) just send it back to me and I will repair it for free (provided you have the pieces, or else I will charge an at cost charge for the replacement value of the items missing). You'll pay the shipping both ways, but I can make it as good as new for you because sometimes life happens and an item gets broken. Allergy/Health alert stretchy bracelets have *one* free restringing included in the price.

I want you to feel safe buying from me but I can't absorb mailing costs at this time - - but you will get the rest of your money back if you decide my item isn't quite what you wanted. It is hard to buy on the Internet when you can't see/touch/try on your item and I do understand that :) Just let me know and I will refund your purchase price when I get it back in original condition.

If any item arrives to you damaged, PLEASE contact me immediately so we can work out how to proceed. I can't help it if postal workers jump up and down on packages - - but neither can you, so we will work together to figure out how to redress the issue. I won't leave you stuck :)
Payment is due at time of sale. I accept Paypal, RMX (RME), and I can invoice for credit card payments through Google Check Out. I'll also accept Personal Checks and Money Orders. I am happy to discuss Lay-Away plans.

All taxes, customs, duties and fees charged for international orders are the responsibility of the buyer.
Most items are shipped first class mail unless otherwise noted. International items are shipped First Class International but insurance and tracking are *not* covered in that price. If you want insurance for either Domestic USA or International orders, please let me know and I will send out an invoice reflecting that shipping upgrade. Also, if you want an item sent Priority Mail because you need it fast, let me know and I can either revise the listing to reflect those charges or I can invoice you for the difference afterwards.

I mail out orders within 3 business days of receipt of funds (10 day hold applies to items paid for with checks or money orders).
Additional policies and FAQs
Some of the stones I use are fragile and may break if treated roughly. If a stone breaks, contact me as I may have another and can repair your piece for a nominal charge.

My work area is smoke free but sometimes people might walk in the house with a lit cigarette. I also have cats and dogs, and I sometimes get frisky and cook with garlic. To minimize any exposure to smells and hairs, I wash each piece the night before I mail it. Metals and stones don't typically absorb odors but I'd rather be safe than have you cursing me under your breath so I rarely mail the same day the order is placed (damp silver and beads can get moldy if not aired properly) :) Repeat happy customers are the reason I have been in business a few years, so I *want* you to know I appreciate your business and will make sure your shopping experience is as smooth and customer-friendly as I can make it.
