I love these leggings. They're true to size and the colors survived the first wash. (I hand washed them). Great seller. Good service. Quick shipping too.

About

Fiber in my Veins...

I’ve been crocheting, knitting, sewing and making things since I was 6 years old.
And I just simply can't stop...

I remember begging my grandmother back in Hungary to teach me how to crochet, so she showed me the first 2 basic stitches - chain and single crochet.
From then on, I taught myself everything;
I learned to knit, crochet, do macramé, and bead work, sewing, you name it! Creating has been my true passion all my life, it is what makes me happy; not only directly, but having been selling my items, through my customers who seek me out from all over the world.

I had my first business over 40 years ago.
As a teenager I started making macramé and beaded jewelry, later added tie dye scarves and garments to my collection, I was selling them at flea markets & festivals back in Hungary, sometimes even hitchhiking to different towns!

When I came to New York, I kept creating different items just for fun for myself and my family.
I started a freelance knitwear business in 1991, designing one of a kind hand knitted original sweaters for knitting magazines like VOGUE, McCall’s and KNITTER’S. I have several published designs under my maiden name – Ági Révész that I’m still proud of.

Then I went from being a stay at home mom and married to a single mom with nobody and no help in this country.
It was not only my passion to create and sell but starting up a full time business was a necessity of survival.

Since I was a mother of two, I began concentrating on children’s sweaters and launched my first wholesale collection. I created crocheted appliqués to embellish the knitted garments. Later, I used the same added details on tee-shirts and other garments. I have always designed whimsical creations, picked fun and vibrant colors. As an extension to my business, in 1999 I decided to start selling my collection at craft shows and special events, mostly in Manhattan, NY where I live. As I learned more about my customers and my business, I started adding adult styles to my collection.

Since a designer always have to come up with new ideas, I always add to my collection – but all pieces are connected by my love of fibers, beads, colors, crochet…
My current focus;
Collecting-making-repurposing unique garments for women and choose beautiful and trendy colors to over dye them, or hand stitch them with crocheted flower appliqués.

My collection is well recognized for the vibrant solid and tie dyed colors and fun shapes. Through the years I have developed a great relationship with many of my regular customers; who are coming to see me not only from various states but also from different countries! They love and cherish my unique designs and the great quality of the garments. I love what I do, I love dealing with the customers and finding them the items that makes them happy!

I'm more than happy and willing to collaborate on some custom pieces.
Some of my styles are OOAK (one-of-a-kind), but many can be repeated or I can come up with some similar options, so please feel free to contact me!
WHOLESALE ENQUIERIES ARE ALSO WELCOME!

The first website link is for a European site featuring some of my kids items - Shipping is for Budapest, Hungary.
Send me a convo if you are interested in any of the pieces and you love on other continents!

Thank you so much for visiting!
