Unfortunately sometimes I miss messages or find it impossible to respond with the time that I have that doesn't include toddlers yanking on my shirt or throwing shoes at me. Specifically, messages that ask questions that can quickly be answered by clicking on "Item Details" like "Will this fit my hoop?" or "How big is this design?" probably will not get a return message. I apologize in advance for the inconvenience, but please understand that I am a one-woman show over here and I do not have enough time in the day to create supercute embroidery designs and respond to messages that are easily answered by the customer herself.

About

Wife turned mom turned embroidery devotee!

I have been embroidering since the summer of 2011, when my husband bought me my first single-needle embroidery machine for my birthday. I tired of the 4x4-inch embroidery field pretty quickly, and with my earnings from that year I paid cash for a larger single-needle embroidery machine and began building a reputation locally for doing quality work.
In April of 2014, my husband helped me purchase a Brother 6-needle machine and my work has skyrocketed - in both quality and quantity. With my profits from 2014 I purchased some basic digitizing software so I can create my own unique embroidery designs with the home embroiderer in mind.
One thing I've learned about digitizing is that it is HARD. It is time-consuming, requires a lot of skill and practice, and if you forget or mess up one step, you can screw up an entire design. I always had respect for the digitizers from whom I regularly purchased, but since I began doing it myself, I have been blown away at the amount of time it truly takes to create a good design and make sure it stitches properly. Draw/find clip art, photograph, digitize, test, digitize, test, digitize, digitize, test, correct, digitize, test, photograph, save, list, and hopefully sell. I love to use clip art from great artists, but that has its own pitfalls as well, if another digitizer uses the same thing. There are so many things to think about when digitizing, but the process is continually exciting and challenging for me as an artist and as a woman who works from home, balancing all those roles as well!

Payment
Payment is due to Etsy at the time of purchase. If you make a payment that requires a waiting period, such as a PayPal eCheck, your purchase will be held until the payment clears. This is not my policy but something that PayPal and etsy dictate. As soon as your payment goes through, you should be able to download your purchase. Please give a few minutes for this to happen before you send me a message. Sometimes cyberspace takes a minute. :-)
Shipping
The vast majority of my items are digital downloads.
I do occasionally make listings for items that I stitched as samples for my listings. You will see the words "PHYSICAL ITEM LISTING" in the title.

All in-stock supplies (snaps, pliers, D-rings, etc) are mailed within 1-2 business days via First Class Mail unless stated otherwise or unless you'd like to pay extra for Priority (message me first).
Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the digital nature of embroidery designs, no refunds are offered. This is the policy of 99% of digital sales shops. I will happily work with you as much as is reasonable to find a solution if you're dissatisfied with your purchase. It is not beneficial to me or the future of my business to have unhappy customers.
Additional policies and FAQs
You MUST know how to download, unzip, and use a digital embroidery file to use my listings. If you do not know how to do any of these, there are hundreds of awesome groups on Facebook for beginners to help each other along. As much as I appreciate my customers, I simply don't have time to answer general questions about embroidery.
