About DesignsByTenisha
Typography + Nostalgia = Inspiration
For my business, Designs by Tenisha, I have two key influences that have inspired the direction of my shop, typography and nostalgia.
The first item that instantly became a hit was my cootie catchers, which was based off of a graduation invitation I had designed while in college. I originally made templates as a wedding favor and the feedback was amazing to hear. Customers loved this nostalgic game from their childhood and "had to have it" as a part of their wedding. From there I realized if it’s a hit for weddings why not other events? Since then, besides custom cootie catchers for events, I’ve designed them for holidays as well which has become another customer favorite over the years.
Along with cootie catchers, I also design state typography prints based off my love of fonts. Everything that is for sale in my shop is designed by me. I take the time to respond to each customer’s comments in a timely manner, as customer service is key.

Frequently asked questions
Shipping Issues:
If the item is damaged, upon arrival, please send me a message within 48 hours of delivery. Please also include a photo of the damaged item and the packaging, that way I can file a shipping claim with USPS. From there I will do my best to get a new item out to you as soon as possible.
Delays can happen with shipping; Designs by Tenisha will not be held responsible for lost, stolen or delayed orders. But if you contact me I will do my best to help with the situation.
Cancelling / Refund Policy:
Due to the nature of my work, please contact me within 24 hours if you need to cancel your order.
Returns or exchanges are not offered at this time, please keep this in mind when making your purchase.

How do I download an instant download purchase?
- After you purchase the listing you will see a link to the Downloads page where you can download the file(s) with the order
- Click “View your files” from either the download page or through the email sent from Etsy
- Save the file & Print (at home or at a print shop)
- PLEASE NOTE: File(s) are available once your payment is confirmed, if your payment is still processing you’ll see a notice at the top of the page

- Go under the Purchases and Reviews tab under your Etsy account
- Select on the order then click on the download link
