About

Damn Fine Jewelry Design

Welcome to Design Theory!

My designs are informed by the things I love most: contemporary art and architecture, color, music, fashion, and the moods and tones evoked in film and literature. I love to mix things up - metal and clay, new and vintage, delicate and edgy. Searching out unique vintage beads for my designs is a passion, something that I feel make my designs truly singular. One of a kind.

Polymer clay spikes are my signature design element, and I love to mix things up by combining them with the vintage beads and raw brass findings that I've collected over the years. I'm always experimenting with new forms and designs, so stop by often to see what I'm cooking up.

I'm so glad you stopped by to read a little bit about me, and hope you'll enjoy browsing my Etsy shop. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments, or just to say hello, and visit my Shop Policies for more information. Please come by often!!

Payment
I happily accept PayPal for all purchases, as well as credit cards directly through Etsy.

Payment must be made within 48 hours of purchase, unless we’ve made other arrangements. Unfortunately, if payment has not been received within this time frame, and I haven't heard from you, the transaction will be canceled and the item will be re-listed.
Shipping
Most orders will be sent out within 1-3 business days of receiving payment. All orders ship from Philadelphia, PA and will be shipped to the address on your Etsy account. You'll receive an automated confirmation email from Etsy when you place your order, and then a shipping notification email with a tracking number when your order has been shipped.

All items are packaged beautifully and then packed carefully in a padded mailer.

Domestic orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail. International orders will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail International. Bear in mind items shipped via First Class International can take up to 8 weeks after leaving the US to arrive abroad (dependent upon customs delays and final destination). **Please note, I cannot guarantee the timely delivery of International orders. I also assume no responsibility for customs delays or duties.

Please contact me BEFORE purchasing if you required expedited shipping - I can then give you a quote, and revise your invoice.

I am not responsible for packages that go missing or are damaged in transit. However, I'm happy to investigate any missing packages and will make every attempt to locate them. If an item with delivery confirmation/certificate of mailing is reported missing, but is confirmed received via the tracking number, no refund or replacement will be issued.

International buyers, please be aware that you might incur customs charges or duties. Duty/import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

I typically don't include printed invoices with orders, but am happy to provide one upon request.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if you are not happy with it, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your order and we will work through a return. Items must be in original, unused condition. You will be responsible for return shipping, and original shipping costs cannot be refunded. There are no returns on custom or altered items.
Additional policies and FAQs
CUSTOM ORDERS
Each object I make is one-of-a-kind - so I'm unable to create another exactly like it. If an item you love has been sold, let me know - I might be able to work with you on a similar design. If you're interested in a custom order, just convo me - I can't promise that I'll be able to accommodate your request, but will thoughtfully consider it!

RESERVING AN ITEM
I will hold an item on reserve for up to 5 days. If the item has not been purchased within that time frame, it will be relisted.

WHOLESALE
Because most of my designs are one-of-a-kind, and incredibly labor-intensive to produce, I'm unable to sell in bulk, and cannot offer any bulk rate discounts.
