Childhood in the Making

I've always loved to create. Growing up with a uniquely spelled name, I longed for all those personalized items my friends could buy off the shelves. The late 80s & early 90s didn't have internet accessibility or craft stores on every corner like today. So the opportunity to create custom, personalized, one of a kind items was a no brainer. And now that my kids are school aged, I love keeping them close to my heart when they are not with me, as I'm usually wearing their initials on my necklace. I love that I can offer affordable items, purchase my supplies from other small U.S.A. owned businesses, and recycle supplies as much as possible.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
I cannot accept returns or exchanges of personalized items unless there has been an error on my part. Please review your information carefully before you submit your order to ensure it is accurate. I pay strict attention to each and every detail provided. If you find an error once your order has been submitted, but not yet shipped, please contact me immediately and we will find a resolution.

I accept payment via etsy direct checkout, etsy gift certificates, and Paypal.
Shipping
Item(s) will ship via USPS First Class Mail as soon as possible. I will notify you once your special item has shipped. An upgrade to USPS Priority Mail is available.

We currently ship within the US only at this time.
Additional policies and FAQs
Items in my shop are carefully and lovingly hand stamped by me, therefore each item will be unique and differ slightly from the photos.

The type of metal used is included with each listing. I most commonly use 14k gold filled and sterling silver. Please note that all metals tarnish with everyday exposure to air and the oils from our fingers. To prevent tarnishing, do not wear your jewelry in water, carefully wipe your piece with a polishing cloth after wearing and store in a plastic bag.

I currently offer lower case letters, upper case letters, an & symbol, a dot symbol, classic heart, and butterfly. I also offer numbers, but please note they are slightly smaller than the letters. I do not offer any other unique symbols or pictures at this time.

Pendants can only be stamped on one side. There will be slight markings on the back side of the pendant due to the metal stamping process.

While etsy is always open, my working hours are 9am - 5pm EST from Mon - Fri, excluding US holidays. Please know you are important, and while I do often reply to inquiries outside of these hours I cannot always be available for communications outside of those standard hours. Thank you for your understanding.

If you are purchasing a gift, I am happy to include a small hand written note. Please don't hesitate to ask.

Items shipped to NC are subject to a 6.75% sales tax.
