Announcement As of 2013 Dennis has had two strokes and we no longer will be at ANY of the Renaissance Fairs. I will continue to keep making things as I still have pictures in my mind of pieces I would like to create. Will continue to post them as I get them done. God Bless you all for your love and for patronizing our shops at Faire. Hoping to connect with you all on the internet.

From Horseshoe Nail Jewelry to Silver and Gold.
When Dennis' Father retired he and his wife Nanna started making horseshoe nail jewelry to supplement their Social Security Income. They sold their jewelry at then popular "Craft Shows". Dennis, the children and I would help them sell at these shows. It was at this time that the Minnesota Renaissance Festival started and they were asked to participate. We helped them again there. When Dennis' Father and Mother could no longer (because of age) be there regularly we (Dennis, the children and I) started doing the Renaissance Show regularly. We also joined a Gem and Mineral Club to learn about stones and geology and learned about about that time Fran got a job at a jewelry manufacturing firm and started "on the job" learning in silver and goldsmithing. When Dennis retired and the children had grown and were on their own, Dennis and I started doing the Renaissance Circuit and did as many as six shows during the year. Starting in Arizona in February, and ending in Houston in the late fall ending at Thanksgiving. We would head for home for Christmas and start again in February. We are at an age when we no longer want to travel as much and "Settle Down" but our customers still wish to have our product available ie: our Ear Threads. The internet is the next step to keep our product available for our customers. It's been a great adventure. Future adventures await.
