El creador de esta tienda y creador de todos estos hermosos artículos falleció en abril de 2021. Ya no se crea trabajo original aquí, solo la venta de su inventario restante ***
Tenga en cuenta: Nuestro trabajo está hecho para ser ligero para una apariencia delicada. No es una pieza pesada y torpe de cerámica.

Para hacer un soporte de anillo nosotros..
se me ocurre una idea de cómo me gustaría que se viera.
Corté 25 libras de arcilla con una herramienta de alambre.
Puse una pieza en mi rodillo de losa de manivela de manivela.
Tomo la losa y presiono el encaje en la arcilla húmeda.
Corté a mano la forma que quiero.
Lo dejo secar un poco y ellos lo forman en forma de cuenco.
Despliego los postes.
Adjunto el poste con resbalón.
Una vez que esté seco tomo una esponja húmeda para alisar los bordes.
Tiene que reposar durante varios días (dependiendo del grosor) para que se seque.
Se cuece la primera vez en nuestro propio horno durante 9 horas.
Al día siguiente lo glaseo a mano, agregando detalles.
Lo disparo la segunda vez.
Lo saco del horno y respiro aliviado de que no se haya deformado, de que el esmalte haya salido perfecto y de que no haya imperfecciones.
Tomo una foto, la enumero en etsy y personalmente la empaqueto una vez que se vende.
Parte de este proceso incluye tener que llenar (¡hacer suficientes piezas!) nuestro horno bastante grande antes de que podamos ejecutarlo. Cada carga tendrá capacidad para unas 200 piezas dependiendo del tamaño de los artículos.

Please note: Our work is made to be lightweight for a delicate look. It is not a heavy clunky piece of pottery.
~~ Our work is unglazed on the bottom where the pottery touches the kiln shelf, and then signed~~
Please remember, colors may vary from monitor to monitor!
The white pieces are an Antique white, which is a slightly creamy off white.
Hand built pottery is not machine made! It will have it's own personality and imperfections, which makes it a truly unique piece!
Please hand wash to preserve the life of your pieces.
To make a ring holder we..
come up with an idea of what I'd like it to look like..
I cut 25 lbs of clay with a wire tool.
I put a piece in my hand cranked slab roller.
I take the slab and press lace into the wet clay.
I hand cut the shape I want.
I let it dry a bit and them form it into a bowl shape.
I roll out the posts.
I attach the post with slip.
Once its dry I take a wet sponge to smooth the edges.
It has to sit for several days (depending on the thickness) to dry.
It gets fired the first time in our own kiln for 9 hours.
The next day I hand glaze it, adding details.
I fire it the second time.
I take it out of the kiln and breathe a sigh of relief that it didnt warp, that the glaze came out perfect and that there are no imperfections.
I take a pic, list it on etsy, and personally pack it once it sells.
Part of this process includes having to fill (make enough pieces!) our rather large kiln before we can run it. Each load will hold about 200 pieces depending on the size of the items.
