    New Designer Who Has Found Her Passion for Creativity. Who Knew?

    In 2013, I developed a disabling neurological condition which forced me to quit work and mostly confines me to bed. After spending over a year in bed, my doctor and family encouraged me to find something to spend my time on, a therapy as such. I never considered myself a creative person, my mother, daughter and granddaughter got that. My granddaughter is the most creative person I know.

    It started out with helping my daughter make Christmas ornament wreaths that she would make for friends and co-workers at the hospital she works for. I decided I wanted to continue and expand upon that, it was a craft that I could do from bed. I began cruising Pinterest and watching lots of You-Tube videos. I quickly developed a love for wreaths. It took a lot of trial and error, more You Tube videos and finding the right designers to follow. It became something I could do that not only took my mind off things but gave me a sense of accomplishment knowing I had brightened someone's day.

    I joined groups and took classes and before long, I didn’t have to have a picture to look at and make my interpretation, I actually had my own ideas. Now making wreaths is not just my therapy, it has become my passion. Now my little hobby has grown into a business and I’m not exaggerating when I say it has been lifesaving.

    I enjoy all kinds of wreath forms, I have very eclectic taste, so customization has become my specialty. While I have a love of antiques and rustic decor, that is what I enjoy working on the most but with Deco Mesh you can really go outside the box and the sky is the limit.     How do I order a wreath that I don't see in your shop anymore?

    If you don't see a wreath in my shop anymore it is because it has been sold.Just contact me and I will do my best to make a wreath look very similar, but not exactly the same. Colors and overall style will be preserved.

    Are your wreaths safe for outdooors?

    Most of my wreaths are suitable to be displayed outside, however they should be on a porch with some kind of overhang so they are out of the weather. Direct sun exposure may fade the colors after time.If you know of a big rain storm coming or a lot of wind, I suggest you take your wreath off the door. A UV protection can be applied to help.

    Sizing Details

    The sizes of my wreaths are included in the description of the item. I measure each item before listing it in my Etsy shop. If you ever need to be absolute certain or need confirmation of size, please message me.

    How Do You Ship Your Wreaths

    I use a study corrugated box for shipping. Each wreath is wired into the box with pipe cleaners to ensure it will not move during shipment. When received, just clip the pipe cleaners and refluff the ribbon.

    Why Are Shipping Costs So High

    Flat rate shipping charges are to the lower 48 states and APO/IOP addresses only. Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii will be much more expensive, please contact me for a quote to these areas BEFORE buying. Due to wreath size, shipping can easily exceed $18-$20 (especially to mid or western states), therefore, in these cases I end up paying the difference. I ship using USPS or FedEx Smartpost whichever is cheaper. This guarantees shipment in 2-9 days and insurance is included. A physical RESIDENTIAL address is required to ship using FedEx.

    How Long Does Shipping Take

    Shipping to the midwest is usually 2 business days, south and east coast is usually 3-4 days and shipping to the west coast is 4-5 business days. Plan your purchase carefully, when trying to meet a deadline such as a holiday or birthday. Additionally, delivery can be delayed by the carrier due to inclement weather, which is out of our control.

    Returns on Wreath Purchases

    All sales are final, however, we believe in our products and stand by them 100%. Since these are handmade items there could be a time when a wreath or item may have a defect. In that event, you may exchange your item in its original packaging only for another wreath of the same value or be refunded the full purchase amount. Refunds will not be completed until the item is shipped back to us. You will need to contact us within 2 business days of the receipt of your item and to have a return shipment transaction generated.
