Clothing made of dyed or undyed cotton without buttons, zippers, rhinestones, etc. is SAFE!!! YAY!!! :-)

The most recent developments regarding the law include a 1.5-hour-long meeting where a number of experts presented the CPSC with factual, scientific evidence supporting the safety of textiles of all kinds. You can view the meeting in it's entirity here:

Dilly Bop Designs is 100% committed to producing a totally safe product, and as such, we will never use ANY untested metal parts, plastic parts or surface paints of any kind. Our line will continue to include only fabrics with no embellishments of any kind. This has always been our "niche" and it will continue to be so. We are NOT trying to weasel out of testing a potentially harmful product, we simply want to avoid costly testing on fabrics that are scientifically KNOWN to be LEAD-FREE. "Untested" does NOT equal "unsafe," it just means that the CPSC has come to the conclusion through extensive research that fabrics alone do NOT pose a lead risk.
