Announcement   More mermaids coming soon! I've been sketching new designs and tweaking patterns. Excited! I've been an Etsy fishmonger and mermaid-maker since 2011. Each nautical pillow and wall hanging is designed, painted, sewn, and stuffed by my own hands and is either OOAK or produced in limited quantities. I'm always trying to up my game, so if nothing strikes your fancy today, check back next week. I still do custom orders for mermaid dolls when I can; feel free to ask!

If viewing via phone, please swipe to see all five photos and tap 'more' for full item description, including dimensions.

Ready-to-ship items are mailed within 1-2 business days. Most made-to-order designs have a 3-5 business day turnaround.

Thanks for stopping by! Welcome!

This is just about the cutest pillow I've ever owned. Well made and absolutely love the button eye. I love the pattern, too. It pulls together some difficult color matching when I ended up with a (free) red couch. Perfection!

About

Kick Off Your Flip-Flops and Stay Awhile

In 2011, I opened my Etsy shop with just one folk art doll. Today, my mermaids and fish are in beach cottages, lake houses, and nurseries all over the world. It's a challenge to do this all by myself, but it's incredibly satisfying. I am most definitely blessed!

For a behind-the-scenes look at my studio and my process, here's an interview I did with Richard Green for Carolina Now: http://youtu.be/p0LoJZExPVE

I played in the sawdust as my grandfather crafted furniture in his workshop, and I made dolls from my grandmother's sewing and quilting scraps. In my early college years, my future was going to be fashion, but the genes kicked in. Life is good!

Each item is tucked into a cellophane bag topped with a jute twine or ribbon bow. I'm also happy to include a brief note on card stock to a gift recipient.
