Dishfunctional Designs Broken China Jewelry by Laura Beth Love.
My broken china jewelry is heirloom quality and expertly handcrafted in my studio from start to finish. I (literally!) wrote the book on how to make broken china jewelry! My broken china jewelry has been featured in Country Living Magazine, Crafts Report Magazine, Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist Magazine, and most recently, Antique Trader Magazine.
I am the author of Boho Chic Jewelry: 25 Timeless Designs Using Soldering, Beading, Wire Wrapping, and More (2014) and Soldered Alchemy (2015). I recently released my first two jewelry workshop DVD's; Make Vintage & Upcycled Jewelry: Dishfunctional Plate Necklace, and Soldered Alchemy: Open Heart Pendant. I also offer jewelry making tutorials on YouTube.
All of my broken china jewelry is made from recycled china: vintage and antique plates that are previously damaged or broken due to age and or wear. I do not use any vintage china for my jewelry that is not already damaged in some way.
