I'm thrilled to announce my first jewelry instruction book, BoHo Chic Jewelry, published by KP Craft and is now available!

My name is Laura Beth Love and I am a full time artist and jewelry designer.

I am most known for Dishfunctional Designs, my line of jewelry made from broken vintage china, which I have been creating for many years. My jewelry is recognizable by my signature style of soldering and beaded solder details, a technique which takes years to master. All of the china that I use for this jewelry is previously damaged, either from age, use, or both.

My jewelry was most recently featured in Country Living Magazine (Oct. 2011), as well as numerous times in Crafts Report Magazine, among others. I also was featured in Kaboodle and Etsy's article "Celebrity Style" after True Blood actress Tanya Wright was spotted wearing jewelry that I designed for her.

Aside from china jewelry, I also create wire wrapped and unique beaded jewelry, pysanka (Ukrainian Easter eggs), make stained glass, mosaics, and watercolor paint.

I am an enthusiastic creative upcycler! I try to spread the love of creating items from recycled and salvaged materials through my blog,, where I write all about how to creatively reuse all types of materials and turn them into wonderful art and home decor.

I am a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my degree in Professional Writing. I am also mom to two wonderful little girls. At home I enjoy raising Koi that I keep in a backyard pond, baking (especially pie!), and listening to lots and lots of music.

Prior to Etsy, I sold my jewelry on my website and on ebay for over 10 years, where I amassed over 3,800 positive feedback (!), and now I happily offer my designs to the Etsy community! I truly hope you enjoy browsing my shop!
