International recognition from customers and the media demonstrate the depth of innovation and deep commitment in revolutionizing the packaging and label industries with compostable adhesive labels, natural tree-free hemp papers, and eco-friendly packaging for conscientious brands. Via Etsy, we offer sustainable FAIR TRADE handmade and many TREE FREE items and gifts for immediate purchase, some in regular stock and others as extra overrun samples.
We feel Etsy is a great fit to sell our handmade SUSTAINABLE items to individuals and to offer fair trade sustainable packaging and ecofriendly packaging supplies for Etsy artisans.
Many of our clients are individuals and organizations that share our commitment to sustainability and like to combine that with the importance of CREATIVE PACKAGING DESIGN, labeling, marketing, and branding as a compelling brand experience. Many of our clients are rebranding packaging, launching a new business or product line, seeking to improve their carbon footprint in new ways, or to be more socially responsible and environmentally conscious through 100% RECYCLED and COMPOSTABLE LABEL STICKERS.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (Outside USA):
* We are happy to ship orders outside USA.
* We handle international orders manually since we only ship FedEx or UPS internationally, and don't have a reliable method to accurately calculate international shipping/VAT expenses within ETSY.
EASY ORDERING STEPS:
Send an email to sales [!at] elevatepackaging.com with the following information:
* Quantity for Each Item you wish to purchase
* Your full name and mailing address.
* If the billing address for your Visa or MasterCard is different than your
mailing address, provide the billing address too
* Phone number
* Skype account, if available
* Your Air Courier Service and Account Number (e.g., FedEx, UPS, TNT, DHL, etc.)
The shipment of goods will be delivered through your air courier service and
all shipping, tax, duty, VAT, etc will be responsibility of the recipient.
Once these details are received by us, we will reply to you with an invoice and then call you via Skype (preferred) or phone to get your credit card information.
After payment, the shipment will be sent to your mailing address using your air courier account and you will be provided the shipping tracking number of the shipment.

Hi there! Welcome to DISTANT VILLAGE PACKAGING!
We are an award-winning sustainable packaging and label company using world-class sustainable and natural materials and many from best-in-class fair trade artisans.
Since 2000 we have been a leader in sustainable packaging. A trusted and respected source for authentically sustainable packaging and labels.
What's Our Story?
TRUSTED AND RELIABLE
I am passionate about the environment and well-being or our society and wanted to understand how I could HELP small businesses to make BETTER packaging decisions which were actually good and conscientious.
The mission of Distant Village is to revolutionize sustainable packaging. Early on, my focal point was to innovate a new way to experience packaging with handmade papers because I was seeking a way to elevate "dislocated and isolated" communities of artisan craftspeople.
By working with talented paper artisans and our designers we created brand-specific packaging that created an amazing brand experience and used fair trade, world-leading sustainable natural handmade papers and zero-energy handcraft artistry. We believe (and now know) when people are offered a choice to choose packaging which is sustainable and socially-responsible, they will.
That is how it started, when in 2000, after gaining expertise in strategy and technology at a Fortune 500 company, I explored how to create a new kind of packaging company – a packaging company centered around an uncompromising mission to excite the senses through an uncompromising commitment to sustainable practices in every aspect. The world's most responsible and eco-friendly packaging! That is our challenge and what drives us every day.
The sustainability bar we set in 2000 continues to lead the packaging industry.
With that level of community and sustainable commitment, we had to have a novel and compelling offering. Since sustainability was not so common in 2000 as it is today, we knew the only way to thrive and grow would be to offer revolutionary new packaging ideas and deliver uncompromising super-tight branded packaging designs. It was a bold and ambitious mission and today we owe our gratitude to our outstanding clients for their trust and confidence in giving Distant Village the opportunity to be trusted to serve their sustainable packaging. We proudly enjoy being part of the success stories of our customers businesses as they enjoy the fruits of these world-leading sustainable packaging solutions.
The Distant Village Etsy site has a growing range of items we have available for organic product packaging, compostable adhesive label stickers, handmade paper stationery, wedding favor packaging, natural and organic event cards and envelopes, home office recycled paper, DIY papercraft projects, certified compostable food-grade packaging, and much more.
In July 2016 we renamed Distant Village Packaging to ELEVATE PACKAGING to better represent our growing business. We've done our best to optimize our calculated shipping prices here on Etsy, but if you ever feel that shipping rates seem excessive please send us a convo and we will do our best to help.
