Announcement   These ORIGINAL watercolor paintings created in my studio in the mountains of Colorado add a splash of color to your home or office with modern fine art. These are all ORIGINAL watercolor paintings - not prints, except for the section that offers some popular images whose originals are in private collections. Those images are now available only in a digital download format. My paintings include abstract landscapes, woodland trees, birds, cows, deer and various flowers that depict my version of what it's like to live and play in the mountains of Colorado. You have your choice of having each of these paintings (including the art cards) sent to you as framed and ready to hang images, or simply matted or unmatted paintings that you can mat and frame yourself. I also am happy to give you a quote for a print of any of these images on canvas, acrylic or paper in most any size you're looking for. I can be reached at 970-846-9349 (mountain time) or you can use the Contact Shop Owner button to reach me.

I am also known for my ceramic art which you can find in my other etsy shop: www.blueskypotteryco.etsy.com where I've shipped off more than 4000 pieces of pottery and have 100% satisfied reviews.

Beautiful painting, securely wrapped and exactly what I expected. Additionally, I received a small version of the same painting to make a bookmark or maybe even frame for jy bedside table. Customer service was great. I received a picture of what it looked like before being mailed. Would definitely order again. Thank you!!!

About

A Passion for Painting

Back in college, I painted but got away from it as I moved into business classes and eventually started my own marketing research firm in Michigan. After running my own company for 17 years, I sold it, moved to the mountains of Colorado and started taking art classes. I was initially drawn to pottery and still love the three-dimensional aspects of this art form -- and actually have an active shop here on etsy where I sell colorful, contemporary pottery: http://www.blueskypotteryco.etsy.com

By a fluke, an Elements of Design class I took focused on watercolor as the medium to teach design and I fell back in love with painting. In addition to the abstract watercolor paintings that I make, I also like to work on an even smaller scale with art cards to work out new designs. You'll find a section in the shop featuring the aspen trees of the mountains where I live, and some impressionistic flower paintings featuring lots of bright color.

Payment
I'm happy to accept payment via PayPal, money order, check or credit card. If you wish to bypass PayPal and just call me with your credit card number, I'm happy to accept that, too. The number is 970-846-9349. When you check out on Etsy, just click the 'Other' button for payment and call me with your credit card information.

LAYAWAY AND HOLDS
If you see something that you want but won't have the money until later, I am happy to place an item on hold for one week and will list the item as Reserved for you. If you wish to buy an item over time, that's ok, too. I will accept a 20% deposit on the item and allow you to make payments over time as long as the item is paid in full within two months. If it is not paid in full within 60 days, you will forfeit your deposit since I have lost the opportunity to sell that item while it was on hold. For other special arrangements, please contact me.
Shipping
I generally ship the same day I receive payment, and for most items I use FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail. My policy is to ship the fastest way possible for the amount of money I've collected. I use lots of bubble wrap, foam and peanuts for the protection of yourart.

On International orders, I've tried my best to estimate the shipping costs. However, if I have overestimated it significantly, I will refund the difference to you. Because USPS is our only viable option for international shipping, I will make every effort to pack your item very carefully but will not be able to process a claim should the package arrive damaged. You will need to work through your local post office to file the claim. I will be happy to provide you with any documentation needed.

All shipments are fully insured.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be very happy with your purchase from me. If you don't like it or there is a problem, I will refund your money or offer you a substitute piece of art. Please let me know if there is a problem within a week of delivery.

***A Word About COLOR**** I try very hard to accurately represent my product through photographs and description. I want you to love your art and come back for more! A lot of people don't realize that the color of the image can vary widely from one computer monitor to another. What looks lavender on one computer can be gray on another computer etc. If the exact color of the item is very important to you and you are unable to determine the shade through my description, please send me a Convo and I'll give you as much detail about the color as I can.
Additional policies and FAQs
