Announcement    Handmade, unique jewelry and artwork for the person who has taste, but not BIG BUCKS! Made with care from glass beads, semi precious stones, polymer clay, found objects, and both fine and base metals, my handcrafted earrings, necklaces and bracelets cost you only a wee bit more than what it takes to buy the supplies. My artwork is crafted using quality inks on acid free paper, or on YOUR shoes and totes!

My joy is in the making of them, though I do aim for a small profit. I use recycled materials as much as possible, especially when packaging and shipping.

Please allow two weeks for custom or doodle orders.

I LOVE to swap!! If you like what I offer, and want to trade items rather than buying, let me know!

I will ship anywhere in the world, but the prices get pretty steep. Your call!

Take time to read my profile if you want to know more about me, or take the time to check out my blog: http://mypinkyfinger.blogspot.com

THANK YOU for supporting artisans like me!

Tomboy grows up to become Renaissance woman

As the youngest of three sisters, I am my father's "only son." Far more interested in power tools and wood shop than in makeup and Barbies, it was natural for me to continue to add skills as I grew up. Somewhere in elementary school, I learned to sew and crochet. Then in high school, I added papier mache and painting. College brought embroidery, wheel-thrown ceramics, and kitting into my world (I actually don't knit well, but I do knot well.) In my 20's I stumbled into the world of beads and wire.... to which I have since added sheet metal forming, polymer clay work, PMC, anvil skills, and a little bit of lampwork and cold connections. I hope to take a true farrier (metalsmithing) class soon and would love to own a ceramics kiln.

I opened my store in Etsy when friends insisted on paying me for the many earring sets I would make, and kept saying I could sell them if I wanted to. It's been fun and I make more than enough to keep my bead habit going.

I doodle non stop, dabble in many art forms, and feel confident in my ability to learn what is needed for whatever is broken or imperfect. Today I am the go-to woman among my friends when any cloth item needs hemming or alterations, or the pencil sharpener stops working, or a new dress needs that perfect piece of jewelry, or the statue they bought at an auction got dropped and the hand fell off into shards. I can hem the pants, fix the small appliance, design the necklace, and resculpt a perfect hand to glue on that statue. And I love doing it all.

THANK YOU for visiting my shop, and if you are purchasing something, THANK YOU for supporting handmade artists like me.

I have few policies, but here they are.

I ship your item to you as quickly as possible once you have paid me, usually via paypal. I usually batch ship on Saturdays via USPS but am willing to ship alternatively if you desire, just let me know. If the need is great, I will do my gosh derndest to get it mailed to you midweek, ASAP. I am happy to ship overseas for actual cost.

I resent sellers who make a profit on shipping, so, if my actual cost for packaging and shipping is more than 25 cents less than the stated fee, I will refund the difference to you cheerfully.

If you would like your item gift wrapped, let me know! I am glad to ship gifts from me directly to the recipient without including a receipt, if you so desire, and to ship a receipt to you, the purchaser instead.

I've never had a package get lost, but if you want to insure it you can let me know and I will do so.

    Accepted payment methods

Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
    • Money Order
    • Check
    Returns and exchanges
I am happy to refund your cost, less shipping, if you want to return or exchange an item from me for any reason within ten days of purchase.
    Payment
Paypal is easiest/ best for me and provides you as the buyer with some security as well. I will also accept personal checks and money orders, though I do not ship until those have cleared my bank account.
    Shipping
I generally use USPS. If you prefer another method, just let me know. I can only get to the Post Office once a week, so if you happen to order the day AFTER I went, it's going to take 6 days for me to ship.
