5 out of 5 starsI ordered St Michael relic. I just had my leg amputated in January. So I thought that this relic would bring me closer to God. And I was named after Michael the Archangel. I cried when I felt the relic in my hand. I felt God & Michael, touching me. Letting me know that each of them are with me. However, I had been carrying it around with me in my pocket. And forgot to take it out before giving my clothes to the washer. During the wash cycle, somehow the front cover came apart. When I was alerted, it was too late. The only part that was left was the back cover, and the stone relic. To be honest, it gave me another reason to buy another. And someone knew that I needed all those additional free gifts too!

What is a Third Class Relic?
Third Class Relics are devotional items which have been touched to First or Second Class relics. In many cases these are pieces of cloth, metal, paper, or oil. The church encourages the distribution of these for the purpose of veneration.
What is a Relic?
A relic is something that has been left behind by Our Lord or the saints. From the earliest days of Christianity, relics have been venerated by the faithful. This included items associated with Jesus as well as bones, clothing, and others items left behind by martyrs and holy men and women of the faith (the saints).
What is Veneration and Intercession?
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches us that saints serves as models and intercessors. They are not worshiped -- only God is worshiped. Veneration, instead, is the showing of respect and reverence. The good that comes to us through the saints and their relics is God’s and of God’s doing. The praying to saints is that of an intercessory prayer and invocation. We are asking them to pray to God for us in the hope our prayers to God may be more effective. What is a First Class Relic?
These are relics associated with the life and Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, such as the True Cross and Holy Shroud. They also include the physical remains of the saints such as bones, flesh, and hair.
What is a Second Class Relic?
These are relics used or owned by the saint during their life or in death. They may include pieces of clothing and items such as their coffin/tomb used in their burial.
