Frequently asked questions

Where do you get the wallpaper?

I started by buying small quantities from a couple of collectors I found online. Once I fell in love with antique and vintage wallpaper, I began purchasing larger quantities of my favorite papers. Now that I’m totally obsessed, I buy wallpaper from all over the world, wherever I can find it, as much as I can. It’s getting harder to find, and is a limited resource, so I make lists of what I hope to buy and visit it from time to time.

Are these reproductions?

No, these are the actual antique and vintage papers, printed between 1900 and 1970. Many of them are quite fragile, depending on age, how they’ve been stored, the inks that were used, etc.
