FRAMING SUGGESTIONS for 8.5" x 11.5" dictionary pages .

The dictionary pages we print on are very old ( almost 100 years old ) and might be fragile , so it is advisable to handle them with care . Here are some suggestions how to frame them :

- From our experience the easiest way to frame our prints is by using a "certificate"
( also called a "document" ) frame . In this case the size of your page has to be 8.5" x 11" , which means that you just have to trim the height of the page to 11". After this the print is ready to be framed !
We prefer to cut a little bit more from the bottom than the top . It leaves the header well visible after framing and still includes the footnotes .

- Another framing option is to use bigger frames such as 11" x 14" , 12" x 16" or even 14" x 17". In this case you have to use mats . It's more complicated but also more spectacular . For our dictionary pages we suggest that the mat opening should be 8" x 11". This leaves similar margins on all sides of the page .
