Hi there!
My name is Jeanette Humphries and I'm a country girl, born and raised in South Africa.
As a young girl, I loved nothing more than designing and sewing dresses for my dolls. My mother patiently taught me everything I wanted to know about sewing, just as her mother has taught her. At sixteen, I started selling handmade gifts to a local flower shop, which is where it all began!

Over the years, I have explored many different types of arts and crafts while specializing in children's stuffed toys, textile art and polymer sculptures.

Today I'm the designer and creator behind Ponki and Jeani's handmade plush toys.
I enjoy working with a variety of textiles and my love for color and attention to detail has grown over the years. Each item in my shop was created with love, care and durability in mind!

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and a restocking fee of $6 for each item returned. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer will be held liable for any damage or loss in value.

Please notify me within 3 days of receiving your item(s). Given the extent of the damage I'll be happy to either replace the item or process a refund.

If your item(s) have not arrived within 30 days, please contact your local post office
to track the package via your tracking number. In the event that a package is declared lost through the postal service I'd be happy to either replace the item or issue a refund.

If items are returned to me, the seller, due to an inaccurate shipping address on the buyers account or if the item is unclaimed and returned, the transaction will be canceled and only the purchase price of the item(s) will be refunded.
If the buyer wants the item re-shipped they will be responsible for any additional shipping charges to re-ship unclaimed items.

Custom orders are NOT eligible for refund due to the uniqueness of the item(s).
Custom orders are not eligible for cancellations once production has started.
All custom order sales are final!
Orders are processed in order of payment received.
Production on custom orders will start once full payment is received.
All items are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Processing time for each item varies depending on shipping preferences selected, for details please see individual items.
A tracking number will be sent to buyers through Etsy once items are shipped.

International shipments are shipped via USPS First Class International and may take up to 5 weeks to arrive depending on your location. If items are returned to me the seller due to an inaccurate shipping address on the buyers account OR due to the item being unclaimed, the transaction will be canceled and only the purchase price of the item(s) will be refunded.

Buyers are responsible for any and all applicable customs or importation taxes that may apply.
Please note delays in shipment might occur due to international customs and/or during the holiday rush season.

Care instructions

To clean plush toys you can use one of the following cleaning methods:

Loose dust can be vacuumed off using a vacuum cleaner with a small hose attachment. Vary the attachment size to fit the size of the toy.

Spot Clean:
You can spot clean plush toys by mixing a mild, color-safe, multipurpose laundry detergent with warm water. Be sure the detergent is completely dissolved. Apply it to the stain, saturating it. Rub the area for a few minutes. Do not allow the solution to dry on the fabric. Rinse with clean water and blot until dry.

DO NOT Dry-clean your plush toys. There are ingredients in dry-cleaning chemicals that can damage the fabric/thread.

DO NOT Tumble Dry your plush toys. This will cause pilling.

Wholesale availability

Wholesale orders are discounted at 20% off with a minimum order of $250.

Turnaround time for wholesale orders are 3+ months - depending on the size of the order.

I do not accept wholesale orders during the holiday rush - November 1 through January 30.
