Additional policies and FAQs
Q: Do you accept commissions or create custom versions of items?

A: Yes. Contact me for more details.

Q: How are your prints created?

A: I use a Canon PIXMA iP1700 photo printer to print out the original high-resolution digital image onto heavyweight, glossy photo paper.

Q: Can I buy a print in a specific size?

A: Suggest a size and I may be able to make it happen, but I cannot physically print larger than 8.5 x 11 inches.

Q: How do you make stencil t-shirts?

T-shirts posted here are created with acrylic paint and hand-cut stencils created from my own original designs. To apply the paint, I use a plain old bristle paintbrush. Since it's impossible to apply the paint perfectly every time, each shirt is unique.

Q: Won't the paint wash out?

Nope! The paint is mixed with acrylic fabric medium to help it better adhere to the shirt. The results are something like a screenprint--the paint will crack over time, with repeated washings. However, unlike a screenprint, acrylic stencil shirts can be gently touched up with acrylic paint at home.

Q: Are there any special washing instructions for stencil shirts?

Wash the shirt inside out in cold water. Machine washing is safe, but I recommend a delicate cycle if you go that route. These can also go into the dryer, as long as the temperature is set to "low." Basically, you can treat them like any other t-shirt, but I recommend going a little gentler for maximum life of the design.
