Dolly & Romeo

Hi, thank you for visiting Dolly&Romeo.

I first started making jewellery back in 2005, more of a hobby and creative outlet from my work. My jewellery pieces at that time were mainly shared among family and friends, friends of friends, and never would have thought of running a shop (though they did ask why I didn't start a shop). In early 2014, after an inspirational trip to Melbourne and Finland, I asked myself why not, so decided to go ahead and here we are, welcome to Dolly&Romeo, which named after my two lovely fluffy family members.

I like to experiment different materials, texture and colour to see how they work together. My design is to create piece that is simple, elegant, subtly glamorous, versatile and contemporary for day-to-day wear. I strive to make good quality pieces. I search through the globe to get the best quality of materials that I can afford to have, and to make sure all of them are safe, quality and durable.

I hope you enjoy my design and product as much as I do.

If you find your parcel or item is damaged on arrival, please let me know within 24 hours with details of the damage and a photo. I am happy to exchange the damaged item but the shipping cost is non-refundable. You will have to send me back your purchased item and the shipping cost is non-refundable.

In case you are not happy with your purchase, I am happy to refund you as far as you contact me within 24 hours of your purchase arrival. I will refund you the full item price excluding the shipping cost. You will have to send me back your purchased item and the shipping cost is non-refundable. The item must be in a resalable condition, which is at the same condition as it was sent out in order to receive a full refund. Once I have received the returned item, I will refund you immediately.

Payment
PayPal, credit card and Etsy gift card all accepted. Please understand that all products are made-to-order so payment has to be settled within 3 days before any product to be processed and shipped.
Shipping
All items are ready to be shipped out within 1-3 working days.
Every ordered item will be packed by a padded plastic envelope to ensure it is safe and dry. Please remember to provide your contact number for arranging upgraded postal service.

Gift Wrapping:
If you need your order to be gift wrapped, simply select the gift wrapping service and put it in your shopping cart and checkout with your other items. There is only an additional of USD3 for each gift wrapping service.

For New Zealand customers:
All items will be sent by New Zealand Post using tracked delivery. Delivery will take around 1-2 working days in North Island and around 2-3 working days in South Island. You can also upgrade the postage service for either courier or courier and signature service.

For international customers:
All items will be sent by New Zealand Air Post. City suburbs delivery normally takes about 3-10 working days, rural and country suburbs may take up to one to two months.
For Australia: You can upgrade your postage by an extra charge choosing either courier and tracking post, delivery will take around 2-6 working days; or an extra charge for express courier, delivery will take around 1-5 working days.
For Rest of the World: You can upgrade your postage by an extra charge for courier and tracking post, delivery will take around 2-6 working days; or an extra charge for express courier, delivery will take around 1-5 working days.

For international customers in rural or country residential address or PO Box, New Zealand Post highly recommend you to pay for the courier and tracking post.

If you have not received your parcel after two months from the date of dispatch, please contact me and I will file an investigation with New Zealand Post. The investigation will take around two months of time. Unfortunately I cannot refund any loss parcel nor shipping cost. Therefore, if you have concern, please upgrade the postage to courier and tracking post.
Additional policies and FAQs
All my products here are either handmade or handcrafted, so they would be slightly different and have small variation. Every item here is unique, and there would not be another identical piece.

Hand-made jewellery is special and unique so handle with care is recommended. To maintain the longevity and quality of the jewellery, I do not recommend wearing it under water or direct spray of perfume.

If parts got damaged (wear and tear not included), please feel free to let me know and I can try to fix it for you.
All postage fee, however, has to be covered by the customer.

I am welcomed for any customized order. If you find any style in my store that you are interested in but not your colour, or any materials that I have used but not the style you want, feel free to let me know and I can customize a piece that is specially for you.
