This set is darling. I do wish the fabric had a bit more heft to it, more cotton. It seems like more polyester maybe? The style is adorable though and the fit is perfect.

A doll with a dream...
Rose & the Rebel started life as a retro clothing brand in 2011 after my day job quit me.
I made the change to lingerie and sleepwear brand at the start of 2018 after finding that was what I was enjoying designing and making the most but also what my customers seemed to like the most.
I've always loved retro and vintage styles, especially the 1950's look, and use that as a base to create fun and flirty styles. I'm also a lover of all things creepy and cute, Gothic horror novels and anything spooky.
I studied BA(Hons) Fashion Design at University of Central Lancashire, had the most wonderful 4 years there, graduated with a 2:1 and had my degree collection shown at Graduate Fashion Week 2008. I have worked for high street suppliers designing for the likes of Topshop, Miss Selfridge, River Island and New Look.
Most items are made to order. I design and make everything on my own and all l garments are produced with a semi industrial sewing machine for a professional finish.
Rose & the Rebel is now based on the west coast of Scotland.
Rose & the Rebel is also lucky enough to be an official Princes Trust supported business!

Custom and personalised orders
I am no longer accepting custom orders which are a totally different design to something I already sell. They are too time consuming and expensive.
I am still happy to the change the fabric of an item but only for another fabric I currently use. I will no longer be sourcing specific fabric for individual customers.
Custom sized items will now have an additional fee starting from £15. This is because a new pattern has to be made every time and it is an very time consuming process.
Not every garment is available for custom sizing.
Please ensure all measurements you provide are correct as custom sized garments are non refundable.
For any customised items you will receive photographs to approve before the item is shipped.
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SIZING! Especially on panties/knickers as they are non refundable.
Please also check the fabric composition of the items as a woven fabric behaves differently to stretch fabrics.
My sizing is in alpha (S,M,L etc)
All listings have an image of my size charts with measurements displayed in cm's and inches.
I always advise customers to measure themselves with a measuring tape rather than go by what dress size they are as sizing varies especially in different countries.
When measuring for a bralette please use your bust measurement not your bra size as again bra sizes vary and don't really mean much to me if I need your measurements!
I'm always happy to help if you have questions about measurements.
All garments come with specific garment care labels attached. Please read the label to ensure garment longevity.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Please note marking an order as a gift does not mean your item will be gift wrapped, it will be wrapped in my standard wrapping which I use for all orders.
Marking an order as a gift just means that you will get a gift receipt which does not show the price.
Gift wrapping is available for a small charge. If you choose gift wrapping please let me know the occasion so I can choose appropriate wrapping paper.
Please also note that for international orders I must declare on the customs form what is in the package and the price.
Packages can be held at customs if they don't have this information.
I know this may spoil the surprise of a gift but I can not mark orders as gifts as that is illegal.
