I have been sewing since the age of 12 and that was many years ago. I do love sewing, embroidery, quilting, sculpting, painting, paper mache among many other things.
Most of the items that I make will be one of a kind because I don't like to see myself on every corner. I think then that you won't either. Some items may be made with the same fabric because of the nature of the item, but that will be noted.
I do like to pay particular attention to the little details and take pride in my work. When I buy an item I want it made with that same pride and attention to detail. I also like premium quality materials, that is why I use them. If I can find them American Made then that is an added plus.
My family and I live on family farmland that has been in the family for well over 150 years. It is peaceful out here. I work from home and it has a name Hibiscus House. We have backyard chickens a Great Pyrenees Dog and a Dachshund.
I love to garden flowers, vegetable and fruits. I love to design from the landscape to the decor. I have a passion for cooking and do intend to write a cookbook in the near future. Tested and time honored family recipes will be shared.
I write three of my own blogs and work for another. Guess you could say I also have a passion for writing.
It is my hope that when someone purchases one of my items that it will last for generations. I have aprons from my great grandmother as well as my grandmother. One is over 50 years old and I still use it. They stand the test of time.
I will be adding other products soon. Pillow covers, place mats, napkins, baby items a variety of sewn items. Clay products I will introduce soon.
