My goal is to make the world more colorful, one painted canvas at a time. I try to bring as much realism to the subject gracing the space as possible, mainly using acrylic paints for now. There are so many places and things I want to paint! I have focused lately on places in Virginia and DC like Great Falls National Park, Virginia Beach, the DC cherry blossoms and the Belmont Bay Marina. And flowers, like a red poppy and pink African violets. I've also done a few koi ponds and various beach scenes that have sold outright locally.

I would love to paint a landscape, seascape, an escape especially for you from pictures that you provide!
Care instructions
Never hang your canvas painting outside, in areas of high humidity, or near any heat source.
Please make sure that you clean your hands before handling any canvas painting.
Do not place anything on top of the canvas or lay your canvas with the front facing down.
How to tighten a loose and saggy canvas painting:
If over the years you notice that your canvas is starting to loosen up and sag, you can try the following:
Spray an even, fine mist of clean water or distilled water on the back of the canvas. The canvas should tighten up when it dries.
Never use any chemical cleaners to clean your canvas painting.

I am often asked if I paint portraits of people. At this time no, I am practicing painting people but not ready to take requests for people. I can paint pet portraits though.
