Announcement   Welcome to my shop ~ as you can see I LOVE dogs!! I have 1 Basset Hound - Baxter. (I’ve had 10 basset hounds over the years, 4 were rescues) I have lots of items in the different dog breeds as well as dog and cat prints for all the accessories! pillows,quilts,wallhangings, etc.... if there is any item that you would like and don't see here (example: eyeglass case in butterflies) send me a convo. I also donate to a lot of dog rescue groups to help them out

I'm lost without my sewing machine!!

I attend a lot of craft shows in and around Virginia, so I decided to open my ETSY shop in 2007 for those who can't be at the shows to see what I have for sale. I also have been attending a lot of rescue / pet fairs to sell at and donate to.

To be honest I had never quilted in my life before but thought ... it can't be that hard! So I just jumped right into it. I started out making baby quilts but soon discovered that they were not selling as well so I thought ...why not DOG QUILTS for pet parents!! Well, that took off like crazy!!

Now I'm up to 60+ breeds and counting~ in a variety of pillows, wall hangings and quilts that range from throw size to king size. All dogs and paw prints are drawn by me and appliqued on then quilted on "the monster" as I call it, the Gammill long arm quilting machine.

I'm always looking for new and different fabrics for "little guys" as I like to call them....the small purses, checkbook covers, lanyards...etc. And if you notice, the collars and leashes blend together with the fabric of the little accessories.

so... if I could just get my dogs to learn how to sew!!!

    I pretty much taught myself how to sew at 16 and been at it ever since! My sewing room will look like a tornado ripped thru it at times but it all comes together in the end ..LOL

    HI and Arrooooo ! I don't sew but my job title is "quality control manager" and I give everything the Basset stamp of approval. ( I actually stay out of the way when mom sews!! )

Returns and exchanges
Hopefully you will be totally happy with your purchase. If by chance there is a problem, please convo me and we can work something out.
Payment
If payment is not recieved within four (4) days after purchasing your item, I will cancel the order. (I hate to do this, but after many unpaid orders I have to go this route.)
Shipping
I usually ship your purchases as soon as I recieve your payment. So you can expect your order within 2 to 5 days. A lot of the items are already made since I’m taking out of my show stock.
