Announcement Spring has sprung. Dust off the picnic gear, pour the cordial and flick those checky rugs. Dot and Daisy love this weather. Lots of fresh strawberries on pretty dishes. Fill the basket with cute books and read in the sun.

This is a beautiful card. The printing and card stock is high quality, and the colours are rich and lovely. I love Sue's design. I reminds me of the ancient, broody cliff faces in the Great Dividing Range. I purchased it to complete a gift for my sister-in-law; a pair of veined jasper earrings in similar shades. It's perfect! It arrived very promptly and in pristine condition, having been carefully packaged. I highly recommend Dot and Daisy's wares and service, and wouldn't hesitate to shop with them again.

A Fire in the Belly of a Brush
This morning I received an email from Etsy congratulating me on my first Etsy sale. What a wonderful way to start a day, knowing that somewhere, somebody on the other side of the world loves what I have done as much as I do.
I had gone to bed the night before disheartened by the thought that I just could not continue to paint the way I have in the past. I received another email from a friend who was also feeling the same. I said to her don't be down, we'll head off on another art excursion and fuel those creative juices with some wonderful Australian landscapes and we'll put the fire back in the belly of the brush.
Today I am taking my own advice.
Dot & Daisy
Dot and Daisy are mother and daughter. Daisy aka Amanda, a graphic designer is ordered, neat and list obsessive. Dot aka Sue, a painter is unordered, messy and forgetful. Together we create, argue, travel and laugh.
