Payment
PAYMENT: Prompt payment with PayPal is preferred. If the payment is not received within 7 days, I do reserve the right to cancel the transaction. I will also accept personal checks, however please note that this will delay the shipment of your purchase until the check has been cleared by the bank. Customers paying via check are also not eligible for any refunds for shipping overcharges (See "Shipping Cost and Overcharges" as well as "Combined Order Shipping" policy sections below).

CANCELLATION: If you need to cancel a transaction for any reason, please contact me via Etsy conversation and I will promptly cancel it for you. Please do so before making your payment, if possible, to avoid unnecessary PayPal fees.
Shipping
SHIPPING ADDRESS: By default I will use your designated PayPal shipping address, so please be sure it is up to date. If you require an alternate address to be used, for example in the case of a gift, please notify me by Etsy Conversation at the time your order is placed.

STANDARD SHIPPING: My standard carrier is USPS and I generally use whichever USPS method is most cost effective, unless you require otherwise (please see "Expedited Shipping" below).

SHIPPING TIME: I go to the post office at least every Friday and more often when possible. Often the most cost effective USPS shipping method is parcel post which can take up to 7 days.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING: If you require expedited shipping, please contact me (preferably before placing the order) with a time frame so that I can let you know if you request is achievable and, if necessary, give you an updated shipping quote.

SHIPPING COST AND OVERCHARGES: I ship from Cleveland, OH and estimate shipping costs (including delivery confirmation, and in some cases, shipping insurance) based on a recipient address in California. I also build in $1 for handling. Customers using PayPal who are charged in excess of the final USPS shipping cost + $1 handling will receive a refund of the difference.

COMBINED ORDER SHIPPING: If you purchase more than one item at the same time from my shop, you can save money on shipping costs. There are two main ways to do so. (1.) You may contact my via Etsy Conversation prior to purchasing the items for a combined item shipping quote, and if you agree to purchase the items, a private listing with updated shipping fees will be listed for you. (2.) If you do not contact me for a combined shipping quote prior to purchasing the items, I will simply refund you any overcharge (in excess of USPS combined shipping cost + $1 handling) after the items have shipped. The latter scenario is only available to customers using PayPal.

SHIPPING INSURANCE: For certain items, for example: ones that are particularly fragile, rare, or original art pieces, I require shipping insurance. This will be noted in the item description and built into the shipping cost. Shipping insurance is optional when not otherwise specified - you should notify me in your order comments or via Etsy conversation if you would like to purchase shipping insurance. Please note in my "Refunds and Exchanges" policies that I do not issue refunds for items that are lost or damaged in shipping. For insured items that are not received or arrive damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file the insurance claim with USPS. I am happy to provide you will as much information as possible to assist you with this process.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Please contact me with your country and detailed address for appropriate shipping rates.
Refunds and Exchanges
RETURNS AND REFUNDS: Please note that I sell original pieces, each with unique imperfections that are expected of handmade items, as well as vintage items that have implicit wear and tear. I do my best to photograph and/or describe item conditions accurately, so please review the item descriptions and photos thoroughly, and ask any questions, before purchasing. I am are happy to answer questions! I will readily refund the purchase price and shipping costs of an item that was described inaccurately. If you feel this is the case, please send me an Etsy conversation within 48 hours of receipt of the item describing in detail the condition of the item and await my response before shipping it back to me. If we are both in agreement that the item does not match the listing's original description at the time of purchase, I will give you instructions about how to ship the item back to me. You will receive your refund once the item has been returned.

LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS: I pack my items very carefully. While I do not offer refunds on items that are lost or damaged in shipping, I do offer shipping insurance. As described in my shipping policies, shipping insurance is required on certain listings; this will be mentioned in the item description, and the cost of shipping insurance (for a value of item price) will be included in the shipping fee. In cases where shipping insurance is not required, it is always optional (See "Shipping" policies section above). For insured items that are not received or arrive damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file the insurance claim with USPS. I am happy to provide you will as much information as possible to assist you with this process.

GIFT WRAPPING: Gift wrapping is possible - the price would depend on the item shape and size, so please contact me if you want a bunch of pretty trappings and bows on your purchase so I can give you a quick quote. Please also be sure to let us know the desired shipping address in the event of a gift purchase, since the default address via paypal will be your own. A simple "Gift Message" is always free and should be included in the order comments.
